In cooperation with Plasan
Sasa of
Israel, Permali have developed a comprehensive armor upgrade for the
CH-47 Chinook helicopter. This upgrade provides extensive
protection in both the cockpit and cabin areas, yet is modular allowing
for partial installations according to mission requirements. The
ballistic protection installation is compatible with essential role
equipment such as standard seats, extended range fuel tanks, door guns
and stretchers. All cargo tie-down rings remain available,
and
the centre-hatch can be accessed in flight.
This equipment is in active service with the UK Royal Air Force and the Royal Netherlands Airforce.  |
